I am an ABPN Board Certified Psychiatrist providing psychiatric services to adults and adolescents, and sometimes children. As a general psychiatrist I have worked since 1996 in many different settings, from public to private, from specialty clinics to incarceration settings, and bring this experience to the Janesville Psychiatric Clinic with enthusiasm.

This work includes contacts primarily with the patient, but might also include the family, or the nurse, therapist, case manager, other doctors, and the allied professional community. Treatment strategies include medication, therapy, and other forms of advocacy, employing what is known as the "biopsychosocial model" of treatment. Medication and brief therapy are the primary components of my work at the JPC.

Among the syndromes and illnesses I treat are: mood disorders like Depression and Bipolar Disorder; thought disorders like Schizophrenia and Delusional Disorder; Anxiety Disorders like Generalized Anxiety Disorder and OCD; Adjustment Disorders and PTSD; Personality Disorders; ADD/ADHD; AODA issues; combinations of the above, and more. In October 2011 I completed the credentialing for Suboxone prescribing privileges.
