Therapeutic Approach
In counseling, I focus on the strength of the individual. Each of us has within us the ability to meet life's challenges. At times, we have difficulty dealing with our challenges, and need additional help in focusing on a solution that best meets our needs. I help people find additional tools for problem solving, and to learn healthier coping mechanisms.

Professional Involvement
My specialties include working with women, children and adolescents. A family is viewed as a unit with an individual in crisis creating an unequal balance, potentially causing chaos and uncertainty. With guidance and direction, a family can regain balance through healthy communication and a renewed sense of energy.
Personal and Community Activities
I work with many groups as a facilitator in helping people to uncover their goodness and positive energy. I believe the Social Skills Group concept is a self-enriching method to assist children in discovering their own strengths and increasing their personal skills and abilities. I am an avid outdoors person. Family vacations frequently involve a sense of adventure in the outdoors. I also exercise daily because I believe that a healthy body works together in creating wellness.
